The lifts were open from 10 a.m. until 3 p.m. on Sunday. They're now closed until later this season.

GOVERNMENT CAMP, Ore. — Timberline opened Pucci and Bruno's lifts Sunday morning for a day of skiing and snowboarding.

The lifts opened at 10 a.m. Sunday and closed at 3 p.m. The lifts are now closed until later this season.

Officials with the lodge warned Sunday morning that there were unmarked hazards and active machinery, and asked visitors to obey all trail closures "for the safety of our guests and Ski Patrol."

Winter driving conditions were present Sunday morning, and those traveling to the slopes were advised to be cautious and take extra time while traveling.

The ski area said Saturday that conditions and weather permitting, their goal was to open Pucci and Bruno’s lift for a preview day of skiing and snowboarding. They made the call official at 6:34 a.m. Sunday.
